BASKETBALL INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
Joel’s jets basketball club also offers one on one and small group training sessions at an affordable price. We include resistance bands as well as a variety of other basketball aids to help improve components of fitness such as speed, endurance, agility and vertical. We focus on fundamentals but eventually progress to more advanced skills and finishing techniques. I just recently started to incorporate a training method involving medicine balls and rip cones as used by Micah Lancaster, the inventor of the ‘impossible’ training company. Micah Lancaster is one of the world’s most recognized and respected skill development trainers. He works with some of the elite players in the NBA such as Kyrie Irving, Dwayne Wade, Jeremy Lin and a list of others. Check out one of my kids using this training methods in the videos below.
